EDP's on-line training tools cover a range of health and safety subjects, tailored to the requirements of individual clients

Each topic contains a series of modules, each comprising a number of pages of information and a multiple-choice quiz to check the student's understanding of the material.

Students can access modules in any sequence they prefer so they can 'dip in' at any time to refresh their understanding of any topic. Each module contains a number of pages that present the information in easily digestible elements.

At the end of each module, students have the option of attempting the quiz or deferring it until later. If the quiz is attempted, they receive immediate feedback on whether or not they have achieved a pass mark and they are able to review the material again if they choose to do so. There is no limit to the number of times a module or quiz can be attempted.

The packages incorporate comprehensive reporting so that managers can monitor the progress of their direct reports and organisations can record the health and safety training provided for their employees.

On-line training tools are not designed as a substitute for formal interactive training, which is able to cover topics in greater depth and include practical application. However, they are a valuable introduction to formal training courses or a convenient source for refresher training.
